I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT
A DRAGONFLY AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU
WOULD LAND ON MY PETALS
AND SIP MY SWEET NECTAR'S DEW
WITH THE SOFT FLIGHT OF A FEATHER
AND A HEART OF GOLD
SILVER EMERALD COLORS
OF A TENDER LOVING SOUL
BEES COME BUZZING HERE AND BY
EVEN BUTTERFLIES COME AND STARE
BUT NEVER WOULD I HAVE IMAGINED
SUCH A DRAGONFLY WOULD CARE
WITH YOUR ENCHANTED TOUCH
AND MYSTICAL CARESS
I FALL IN LOVE...
COULD YOU EXPECT ANY LESS?
SO I GIVE TO YOU
MY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
WITH MY DEAREST HOPES
THAT IT RISES FOREVER ABOVE
MY PRECIOUS SWEETHEART
SO MAGNIFICENT AND FAIR
NEVER WOULD I HAVE IMAGINED
such a DrAgOnFlY would care. . .

i will always remember you
no matter how hard i try not to
i will never be able to forget
the impact upon my heart you set
i still hear the words you once said
words that gave me sweet dreams in bed
the dreams that we both shared
the love in me you flared
reminisce of a time that seems so long ago
of caring whispers your lips easily flow
bringing me into the fantasy that i was in
now leaving me with thoughts of what could've been
the tears i shed and cried
as the tender part of me died
you enchanted your way into my soul
why you didn't stay, i may never know
but it will never leave my mind
the ways you were gentle and kind
but now it has all gone away
like the end of every play
and like every sad love song
my Romeo is GoNe...
